A spring Grantura Fantasy

We are quite sure not too many are missing the body of their 1960 TVR Grantura Mk2a. So whoever will be buying this one that is recently offered here is plannning to build one from scratch based on the "original Layton Sportscars Ltd chassis plate". Another option is to buy the battered body and expose it 'as is' in the hall of an art gallery or a fancy advertising agency. 

Our own fantasy is a mix of the two. Recreate the 1960 with all respect and love for detail. Yet maintaining and optimising the looks of the body in its current condition. It wouldn't be our goal to create a 'rat-look' TVR. We would carefully polish what is visible now. Probably add some period 'bondo' in required places. Polish again and after that respray the two door piece of art in a perfectly transparent 2 pack varnish.
