The TF Midget, launched on 15th October 1953 was a facelifted TD fitted with the TD Mk. II engine, headlights faired into the wings, a sloping radiator grille concealing a separate radiator, and a new pressurised cooling system along with a simulated external radiator cap.

Offered for sale from a deceased estate, this 1954 MG TF presents a rare opportunity to acquire a desirable post-war British sportscar with excellent period charm. The vehicle was registered to our client in July 1994 and has remained in long-term ownership since that time. The car has been in dry storage for over 10 years and is now offered as a non-running recommissioning project. The car presents extremely well in what is believed to be an early example of Almond Green metallic paint with a contrasting beige interior. Prospective purchasers should assume that mechanical attention will be required prior to returning the vehicle to road use. Included with the car is the highly sought-after registration number 1234 TF, along with a selection of early invoices, historic MoT test certificates, and an MG TF owner’s manual.
