A car-sleuth postcard holiday: Tourcoing, France

From Rotterdam it was only a short trip to Tourcoing, the Place Charles Roussel, not too far from Lille and if you are wise you'll give a call to Bruno Vendiesse,  his business is quite nearby. The Place Charles Roussel is always lively, also many years before the scene above. When you click the main pic you'll get a close up on the sixties car landscape in France. On the left a hard to crack line up starting with a Citroen Traction Avant ending with e Renault panel van. The foreground  is all pretty obvious, but noteworthy is the the buble car - a small Vespa - on the side of the green Citroën ID. We'll keep it short as we're heading for Andorra, a tough ride from here. So check oil and fill up the tank. Let's meet up tomorrow.
