A fifties Cooper Mystery?

(Answer - Jowett Bradford twin !!) What a come down from the original as used by the Works... I had sold my Morgan/Matchless - 1934 to buy this (as a non-runner) thinking I was improving things ...Should have stuck to my Morgan !! The car has now been restored to the proper configuration and shortened to the right Length as built by Cooper. 

editor: we wonder if anybody is keeping period photos - or earlier -  of this very special Cooper Special. Where exactly is its postition in the Cooper car history?
