It's been forty years since the last Seat 600 left the production line. Although the Seat 600 was a direct clone of the Italian Fiat 600, nevertheless more than 800.000 cars were produced during its sixteen year lifespan. It is said that the Seat 600 put Spain on wheels. In fact there used to be a Seat 600 on every street corner. When reading the press release of Seat we were immediately reminded of a photo in the family album taken in 1966, We think it was in Sabadell, near Barcelona. Subject was of course the poor old man, but the Seat features prominently in the background.
