A winning combination

One racing transporter leads to another. When last week we showed you the Mercedes speedy transporter and the Fiat truck for transporting Ferrari racing cars, we remembered another Mercedes transporter which we photographed at the Concours d’Elegance at ‘Paleis het Loo’ in Holland. It’s a privately owned 1969 LF 1113 FGST with a 1957 300SL on the back. Surely a combination like that gets our vote in any concours. By the way, we just heard that the new dates for the next concours at ‘Het Loo’ have been announced. In 2012 it will not be in September as was the custom, but it has been brought forward to June 23-24. Be sure to make a note in your diary!
