About Puzzle 52 : 1970 Mini 1275C 'AUTHI'

We tried to give you an easy one, but of course it wasn't. A mini yes. But which Mini that's another issue! We  warned you to look at another country which led people to think of Inocenti, but we don't thin k Innocentie made this kind of dashboard at least. Yet to our surprise a handfull of you dear competitors hads the courage to study Spain in stead. And yes thre it was made and there it still is. Though we must say we were inspired for this quiz by an example we found here in Holland!  Anyway the specimen shown here is a 1970 'Authi' (close enough to Austin) 1275C Mini. According to photographer Francisco Carríon it is the four clock dashboard that is making the difference with the standard 1000 model shown here.  In the end we had one jury member with the make correct: Kaspars Dortans. And two competitors who came up with lots of correct details.  They were so close that we deciced for this first quiz of the year to honour both with the PostWarClassic T-shirt. Congratulations Alan! Congratulations Howard !
