Perhaps too modern for our readers? No way! This week we have received two accurate answers, both in the right direction, but one with an important mistake. Wander van Eck said "A Caprera Ragno built in 1969. Was shown at the Turin Motor Show in 1969. The base is a Fiat 500F with an engine capacity of 599cc and fiberglass body". However, the body of this late "etceterini" was made of aluminium, as Salvatore -our winner- told us among other correct information "This is a Fiat 500 LEM500 with an alu body by Misar Eurodesing". The car of the picture has been discovered recently in Italy and has been a great surprise for the little fiat´s aficionados. The "500 Caprera Ragno" presented in 1969 was thought to be an unique example which wasn´t produced serially due to high production costs and a body too heavy for the little engine. In this link you can see the photo of the other survivor, although it´s not clear which of the two cars preserved is the one which was shown at the Turin Salon. So congratulations Salvatore! Please email us your mail address and your T-shirt size.
