About What is it? Christmas Quiz 2018
Another Happy New Year from us. 2018 has ended with the traditional Christmas quiz at PreWarCar.com and PostWarClassic.com and we were happy to see all the responses. Probably the most asked question was who was the talented person who made the sketches. The answer is simple: it was Stefan Marjoram. Another question was: are they for sale? Yes, Stefan has listed them online. Click here.
Well, first we want to tell you which cars we have seen last week. It was a wide variety of cars, from a well-known Ferrari to the Bill Thomas Cheetah. Some were easy, some were more difficult; the colours might have helped you a bit. We got the message that the Porsche of Day 1 can also be a replica, just as the C-type Jaguar of Day 3, but as they are drawings (which are not exact) we don’t take that in our examination.

Thanks for featuring the sketches. Just to point out, the 917 is very definitely the original Le Mans winner - I was shown around it by Richard Attwood himself. After we'd finished shooting (for the Ray Hutton digital book) I stayed on for a few hours and made some sketches. A very special day indeed!
