All set for the egg hunt

The perfect car for Easter? It’s the 2CV. Even alone it was for the fact that the design brief included a statement about it being able ‘to drive across a ploughed field while carrying eggs, that the envisaged smallholder customer would be taking to market, without breaking them’. And it works. Try that in your sporty sprung SUV.

But we liked this Autobianchi too, born in the heart of Roman religion. It’s an all round happy car and people who have driven one will tell you it gives more smile-per-mile than whichever fancy sports car. No doubt. This Milanese girl seems all set for the egg hunt.
