Alpine A108 Roadster. How rare is it?

The beauty will be on show at the stand of Coupe later this week at AutoRetro. According to Rafael Pueche the car came out much better than expected after a simple wash. Intriguing is, that the car is dscribed as a 1967 while several sources say the A108 production had ceased in 1965.  We were looking for production numbers, but except for a vague paragraph at wikipedia we couldn't find a lot. Can you tell us more about this rare Roadster?
