Anniversary Porsche – with spring in the air

We told you the Porsche 914 will be celebrating its 50th anniversary this year (click here), but then we hadn’t come across this lovely image of a very suitable Friday Lady with one such car.

What’s more: now that the snow and ice have melted here we thought it was about time to stop our snowy series of winter sports resort ‘Name the Place’ photos and come up with something more suitable for spring.

In that case it doesn’t get any better then this, does it? A bright yellow 914 and a tree in its early blossom in the background. And then that fresh young thing in what may well have been the first time of the year to wear shorts. She doesn’t show you that it was in fact pretty damned cold, but we’re sure it still was.
