Art at Rétromobile

Rétromobile isn't only about automobiles. Apart from the cars and parts there's always a large section dedicated to the arts, a spot where many artists exhibit their paintings, drawings, sculptures or other skills. Art is a very personal thing so let's pick just two examples. We were very taken in by this bronze, made by Frenchman Hervé. It's titled "L'homme quit conduit l'homme qui..." which translates as "the man who steers the man who steers, etc., etc.," and it's easy to see why. A totally different kind of artist is Thierry Dubois, who signed his latest comic album "La Femme du Notaire" (the notary's wife) with a very personal doodle. No need to say there was a long line of people waiting for him. Next year's edition of Rétromobile will be 5-9 February 2014.
