Back-to-back: Rolls or Jag?

Spring is in the air, daffodils come out of their hiding places and Coys of Kensington organize their traditional Spring Sale this weekend. In London’s Royal Horticultural Society of all means, so a grand opportunity to sniff up some rare species.

We could fall for one of two quintessentially British limousines they have on offer. Both in lovely shades of green and both in fine fettle, or so it seems. The Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III comes with just 87,000 miles on its clock and may just be the ultimate in comfort and style. Can a Jaguar compete against that? The Mark IX certainly can. People that have been chauffeured in one range from Charles de Gaulle to the Queen Mother, while others take it to the track (!). This one is estimated at 10,000 pounds less then the Silver Cloud. Luxury you can afford, we would almost be tempted to say. But which one would you prefer?
