Coincidence? IKA Torino meeting

"What a coincidence, you had a Torino in your Post War Quiz, I won and today we had the Day of the Torino at CAdeAA (Club Amigos de Automoviles Antiguos), an antique car club I belong to here in Buenos Aires Argentina. Some very nice examples of the different variations were to be seen, including some rare specials, a convertible, and race cars, including one of the three original cars that took part in the 1969 84 Hours of Nürburgring, car number 1, one of the three drivers, was with us today, Oscar “Cacho” Fangio, son of the famous five times F1 World Champion. Car number 3, that came in fourth in 1969 84 Hours of Nürburgring can be seen at the Fangio Museum in Balcarce, the driver was Oscar Franco who was also present today at our Club gathering. In Argentina, many people are Chevrolet, Ford or Dodge fans, but when in comes to Torino it is like the National Team for most of us, these cars are still racing in Turismo Carretera, the most popular racing category, one more coincidence, today a Torino won at Paraná. If you want more information or picture let me know. I’ve attached a picture of myself, wearing my Post War T shirt, standing next to the Nürbugring Torino. In another picture I’m standing with Oscar Fangio and Roberto Cordero, one of the Nürbugring race mechanics."

Thank you very much.
