Andre Vaucourt is an expert regarding Delahaye competition cars. He has collected about any information obtainable for type 145 / chassis #48775. At Supercars.net he found a photo of a very much similar car which - we understand- was on show at Pebble Beach in the past. Andre writes: "The supercar.net color photo is for sure a replica, for the simple reason that delahaye never ever built a racing car using the 175/178/180 chassis. (there is another replica being built in Canada using the 178 chassis cut down to 2.7 meters, chassis N°820001, this car used to be a town car) .
