Not a bat job.

You don't need to be a zillionaire to have the fun the big time collectors have. Just see to it that you become an A1 expert on a wide variety of classics and one day you may land a job like Ed Fallon did. His business is 'Salon Representative' which means he is taking care and responsibility for the high end cars at various auctions. Like here when he was taking the wheel of the original Batmobile as created by the king of customising George Barris. The car made a staggering US$ 4,2 million at the recent Scottsdale auction of Barret Jackson and you can imagine a car is not entrusted to just anybody and that's where Ed comes into the picture (here meeeting up with George Barris). He knows how to handle whatever comes on wheels. And does not get confused by non-middle of the road dashboard arrangements like this. He has seen more. At the same event he also drove  a 1949 Delahaye 175 Saoutchick Coupe de Ville, an Isotta Frachini 8ASS Castagna, Clark Gables 300SL, a 1947 Talbot Lago T26GS Franay Coupe, a 1914 Mercedes Open front Town car and more. And a bit more closer at home Ed popped up again at the auction grounds of Artcurial at last week's Retromobile to take care for the 1936 Talbot-Lago GP, Duesenberg etc. Pleasant dreams.
