Four wheels and an Umbrella

Before starting the design of a new Citroën, Pierre Boulanger briefed his team: "What we need is an umbrella with four wheels." And thus they came up with that simplest of simple designs, the 2CV. Unloved and misunderstood at first, the ugly duckling soon stole the hearts of many. And even years after production has stopped, the 2CV still has a great following. Even when you don't own one, you can still enjoy it, for instance when taking a trip to Paris, don't use an ordinary taxi, but order a 2CV with driver. They'll take you anywhere; the famous sights, the nightlife with its famous cabarets, you name it. Great idea isn't it?
