Friday Lady in Mystery microcar. UPDATE: Microbo 125 with Huguette Montreal in Paris

We have reasons to believe this picture was taken in Italy or France in the 1950s. But we are also happy to be proven wrong, since we do not know anything at all about this particular picture. And apart from the location, we wonder about the car in the first place. We're sure somebody will be able to pin the police officer's suit to a date and place. But what is that tiny little microcar, which really seems to offer place for four inside despite its three wheelbarrow wheels?

She may well have been driving it for PR purposes, maybe on her way to a photoshoot? It will have intrigued the policeman, stopping her to find out just a little bit more. Now it's your turn to do just that. Please regale us with all that you think to know!

UPDATE: Gerd Klioba knows more. It's a 125cc Microbo 125in its second guise. "The picture above was taken in Paris in 1953 by Pierre Godot. The lady at the wheel is French actress Huguette Montreal" Thank you Sir!

It is the 125cc Microbo 125 (1952-1954) which was an Italian design, but in 1953 it was advertised as being produced in France. It is unlikely that it was ever built in France and very few were made in Italy. This is the second-generation model, shown at the Turin moto show of 1953.
The picture above was taken in Paris in 1953 by Pierre Godot. The lady at the wheel is French actress Huguette Montreal.

As a child I cut this picture from a magazine and kept it untill this day. I think it is a experimental Mochet and the picture was made in Paris.
