Go-Kart for a Candidate

There is no way that we want to mix in US politics, but we just had to show you this picture. While browsing a car magazine from the 1950s we came across an article about George Romney, the then president of American Motors. But what really attracted our attention was an accompanying photo of an 11-year old youngster, Romney’s son, who had made his own go-kart and is seen here instructing his father how to drive it. And yes, you’ve guessed it, the son is this year’s republican candidate for the US presidency, Mitt Romney!
