It's not only veteran cars that will try to reach Brighton leaving from London Hydepark this Sunday. There's always a fleet of accompanying cars. Some gruesome post-2000 'washing machines' and all kinds of verhicles that litter the landscape and atmosphere of the day. According to the regulations of the veteran car run "tender vehicles are not permitted along the veteran route from London to Brighton", so luckily those are not really to be expected here. We suggest that if you like to accompany the event by car that your choice is a statement. Like the young lady clearly demonstrates with the Grey Lady. She is about to slip into a very modern car; at least in perspective with the LtB veterans, yet it is a car which is paying respect to the grandfathers of motoring.
