Made for fast towing

You might have spotted this advert of a Glasspar boat from Hugh Nutting. Glasspar was America’s first major producer of fiberglass bodies and they didn’t stick to boats, they made some nice car bodies too. Take for example this G-2 that is also owned by Hugh. It’s the John Steers Glasspar-Ford that was first raced in 1956 in the Pacific Division SCCA. It won the novice class (CM) at Stockton CA beating several 120 Jaguars. It is one of a very few G2s with a true early racing history and is a real barn find - untouched minus the engine since being built in 1955. Hugh always thought it may have had a racing past do to the construction and a recently located YouTube movie proved this to be true. Quite a rare car as only about 10 G-2’s of the 200 built had racing history. We suggest you keep the boat, Hugh, the combination of the two will get you to the water in a jiffy!
