Luckily enough the (online) auctions can continue to take place in these strange times. Together we are trying to make sure you can practice your hobby. This means there is still plenty for you to do, to read, to admire and to collect as classic car enthusiast while you might be housebound.
Ni-Cola Classics will auction a total of 2670 lots in their upcoming Spring Auction, which takes place on May 9th from 8:30 am to ca. 9:30 pm. A selection of both pre-war and post-war cars, (motor)bikes, spare parts (for road vehicles as well as racing vehicles), posters, brochures and photographs and other automobilia will be auctioned.
Including documents from the estate of Giovanni Battista Guidotti. Mille Miglia winner, development engineer and team manager of Scuderia Ferrari and Alfa Corse in the period 1920 - 1970. Historically valuable documents with technical data, internal race reports from the road race Tripoli-Benghazi 1938, about the fuel consumption, settings, different fuel qualities for racing cars, etc.
For the Alfa Romeo collectors there is more; an original Alfa Romeo 8C brochure from 1930, the book "L' Alfa Romeo" from 1932 - a real collector’s item and have a look at these Italian Operating instructions for the type 6C Turismo/Gran Turismo/6C Gran Sport.
Among the tools auctioned these is a rare 10-parts original tool kit for Horch 853 A and 851, year of construction 1936 - all open-end wrenches with the engraving "Horch Werke AG Zwickau". But also a complete Ferrari tool bag for a 250 GT Berlinetta SWB, California Spider, 250 GT Pininfarina Convertible or 250 GTO. Whereby all tools have been checked according to the parts list in the owner's manual. Maybe more of an accessory is this high-quality leather tool bag for a 300 SL Gullwing and Roadster. 16-parts with Mercedes star and 300 SL inscription and never used!
With the weekend in mind, our eye caught this original and working 1939 Ball slot machine of the Nürburgring Nordschleife. We would love to give it a try!
