By Hans Veenenbos: In my early teens, almost 50 years ago now, I lived in residential Ma'adi, just outside Cairo, Egypt. One day I decided to go car brochure hunting in Cairo, but all I brought home were these two photos of the Ramses. The Ramses was a locally produced car, based on NSU Prinz mechanics. The body clearly reflects the very basic tooling that was used to build the three different models. At the time Cairo was bristling with these small cars.
I wonder if any have survived after all those years?
