Monday in Mainstreet, Wakefield (update: 1947 Pontiac Chieftan Torpedo Coupe?)

Looks like a busy day that captured on this late forties/early fifties postcard. The Mainstreet seems a popular theme, as it is pictured umpteen times. Here an early one from the thirties. And here one from the sixties. We find that betwen all regular cars there are always one or two that stand out. In this case we were not as much puzzled by the Ford Woodie in the center. Yet by the fastback sedan. Not a 1950 Plymouth. Is it a 1947 Packard Clipper?
