Jungle Bug without proper dating.(update: '58-'68)

Yes we know that old beetles often are modified. The same body produced during years and years made the owners mix new parts with old cars in order to get a  "brand-new" model. Usually the result showing was an old VW with new bumpers, lights or even roof or wings. It is however hard to glue the right year to this red beetle. The little windshield (photo 4) and the dashborad (Photo 6) indicate that could be an "Oval" model from the late 50s, but the rear window says the opposite. The front blinkers are from the mid 60s, as is the steering wheel. The engine and other parts are dismantled and packed in broken boxes inside the cabin, and to add more difficulties to the identification, in photo 5 you can see the reamins of an old "flag" blinker under the red paint... Does anybody what correct year to connect with this old sad VW?
