Good to see you have arrived safely from Hamburg. Well it's only 500 km or roughly 320 miles. Unless you decided to avoid the highways and pay a visit to Jan Bruijn in wonderful Joure, which would add a few hours to the journey but is a worthwhile detour.
Exactly dating the Rotterdam scene is hard, yet judging the car-landscape we tend to say 1963-64 (click mainphoto to enlarge). Far left a Ford Taunus P3, a 2CV van, behind that an unidentified US(?) car. More in the foreground a Ford Zephyr. On the mainstreet a german Ford Transit, a Ford(?) truck, a late fifties and early fifties Opel Rekord, Ford Taunus P2, VW Beetle, Daf 33, Opel Rekord station and a Bedford. A most characteristic Dutch landscape for the early sixties. Hope to meet again in Tourcoing, France tomorrow. Yet on your way out of Rotterdam be sure to visit the small but very nice museum of collector Stijnus Schotte.
