Pegaso Z-102 Bisiluro rediscovered ?

The above photo could produce a great surprise to the true afficionados; a 1950s "Bat car" abandoned and laying under a cover of dust!! A forgotten supercar? A barn find? An abandoned restoration project? Highly educated readers will see at a first glance what car this is: The very special record breaking Pegaso  Z-102 Bisiluro (photo 2). But before you jump in a car, the Pegaso pictured here is not the original machine, which was lost in history.

This one a replica started more than ten years ago, which was already featured on these pages. In our earlier report about the car it was almost finished, but apparently it received some improvements later, as the pilot cabin was completely redesigned (photo 2) in order to give a more accurate appearance. Unfortunately the work was never finished, and since some years it has been put aside waiting for better times. It´s a pity, because the finished project could result in a very spectacular car for any kind of revival speed event. We will follow its situation... or hopefully, its completion in the following years.
