Pegasos on their way to Barcelona

A very wet event - possibly in the Pyrenees? - showing one, no two specimen of the fabulous Pegaso (click pic for the full photo) during a late fifties event. The car in front seems a 1955 Z-102B Berlinetta by Touring. Too bad for the drivers they lost the windscreen and are facing the adverse weather conditions with a piece of cloth over their faces. Can you identify the Pegaso in the background?

At Autoretro 2013 the spanish magazine Autódromo will present its first special issue - PEGASO POR MONSALVE - with text both in spanish & english - titled "Pegaso by Monsalve". Eduardo Monsalve was a very well known spanish sport photojournalist, who travelled around Spain taking photos of several events, including motor racing. This 92-page issue will be focussed on Pegaso, and the photos which Monsalve took of  the spanish sports car in different races. Autodrómo had access to Monsalve's personal archive and have selected 100 photographs never seen before. (photo courtesy Autódromo)

This is only one of thousand reasons to visit Autoretro in Barcelona, December 5-8. Did you see our special visitor VIP-offer?
