Concourses popping up everywhere

If we wait a little longer, every town will have its own Concours.  New “Concours d´Elegance” are appearing all over the world every year. If you are the owner of a beautiful or rare classic and it is in lovely original condition or perfectly restored, there's a good chance that you will be invited to a “Concours”, and an award to your car could increase its value considerably. But visiting a concours can be equally rewarding.
 Even the small town of  Beverly Hills has its own concours, this is the opportunity to enjoy a day of this kind of motoring. The next Sunday 5th of May will be celebrated the 4th Edition of the Greyton Mansion Concours d´Elegance. 135 world-class automobiles will be reunited in this event wich will honour the 60th anniversary of the Corvette with a dozen of models and the 40th anniversary of the 1973 Porsche 911 RS with other dozen of cars. Ferrari will be well presented too, including the 1951 212 Export pictured above. The event also features a full field of motorcycles and the opportunity to tour the historic Greystone Mansion. Only 3000 entry tickets are available so you better be quick, tickets include  two-for-one entrance to the Petersen Automotive Museum.
