Forget skiing, forget ice skating, forget snow boarding – driving a car on snow simply has to be the best form of winter sports for us lot. It’s no coincidence that any self-respecting motor manufacturer is offering driving courses on frozen lakes, Swiss air strips or in hidden Alp valleys. And, ladies, as you can see on the photograph above, this means of snow sports surely can be fashionable, too. She proves it.
High boots, stylish gloves, a fur coat in this year’s colour and, of course, the latest designer sunglasses. The car she’s in was the thing to have in a certain Italian region for a period about as brief as the 0-60mph acceleration time it had. Let us know if you ever saw one, as we suspect not more then a handful were made back in 1967 or ’68. It used its Ford powerhouse to drive the rear wheels, in case you wondered. But then, you don’t even need rear wheel drive for snow Fun with capital F!
