This is not a ‘Tough to Crack’ car puzzle so let’s give the car away if you manage to lay focus behind the California girl. It’s the Valkyrie 500, built by California based Fiberfab and clearly GT40 inspired. More than that, you still can get it! A kit car, oh yes, but certainly not your average bit of kit. This factory built example supposedly came with a whopping 456bhp, promising a 180mph top thanks to its aerodynamic shapes, strong spaceframe chassis and low weight (850kgs). The sprint from standstill to 96mph was an experience which didn’t last long – 3.9 seconds according to the builders. It may be no big surprise that stopping power needed enhancement by a Simpson parachute. Oh dear. Let's hope that parachute had a different pattern than the tartan style bikini.
