Straightforward to Carfest

Why come up with names like ‘VSOFC Vintage and Post Vintage Thoroughbred Meeting In The Walled Garden’ when Carfest will do? Okay, officially it’s called ‘C4R-Fest’ which is slightly more cheesy, but don’t worry about that. The festival set up by BBC-man Chris Evans is all about classic cars, good food and suitable music. A nice mix if you ask us.

As a matter of fact there are two Carfests - Carfest North and Carfest South and the former one kicked off earlier in August at Oulton Park, with some great machinery on track and performances from anything from The Simple Minds to Seasick Steve. Missed it? You’ll have another chance when the sister event in the south will take place at Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire from the 22nd to 24rt of August.
