Supreme cars for Supreme girls?

This weekend in 1970 saw the last concert of Mary Wilson, Florence Ballard and Diana Ross, who were better known as The Supremes at the time. Quite a lot better known is definitely no overstatement as the girls had become the most successful American pop group of the 1960s with twelve #1 hits in that decade. Only Elvis and The Beatles dominated the charts more often. But the three went their separate ways after this farewell concert in the Frontier Hotel in Las Vegas (fuzzy footage here). They defined the Motown’s sound and had become its greatest commercial success.

So what did they drive? Mary had a fling with a Rolls or so it seems, Diana had an E-type at one point and Florence must have liked that, too. We also found some photos of Mary, Florence and Diana posing together on bonnets of cars. A Rolls-Royce seemed once again nothing more than logical, but there was also a Parisian Mini, which was even used for a single sleeve and the Triumph (a TR4?) seen above. And then there was this picture. What is that? A Lancia perhaps? Or could it be a Matra Djet?
