Some time ago editor Joris Bergsma spotted this Kaiser while it was tested on the torture bench at the Dutch Road Safety Board (RDW) to get a registration. This one looks obviously imported from the US, but not too many people know that these cars - be it in more austere appearance - were built/assembled in Rotterdam by NEKAF (Dutch Kaiser Frazer Factory, that also assembled Willys, Hillman, Saab, Simca and Chrysler) The link is in Dutch only, but there are some nice pictures. NEKAF even made a special model called the Kaiser Frazer Rotterdam de Luxe. These are now very rare. Many years ago we saw one with an original Dutch license plate. Could this be still around?
