The Batmobile is Back!

The coming weekend will see the start of the 38th Oldtimer Grand Prix at the Nürburgring. Always a very spectalular event with a prospect of much close racing. Auction House Coys will be there too, with a sale on the Saturday of several intersting cars. Among those we spotted one that will certainly not be out of place on the ‘Ring: this 1975 BMW 3.0 CSL, BMW‘s main weapon in the 1970s European Touring Car Championship. Nicknamed ‘Batmobile’ this is No. 44 out of a total production of only 57 cars of the second series.
