No escort but Eucort Ladies

Two girls enjoying a pastime not very common in the recent postwar days: after a ride in a brand-new car, they stop in a quiet place and switch on a late model portable radio. The scene was photographed in 1945 or 1946, while the european motor industry was trying to recover from wartime destruction. The car advertised in the lovely promotional photo is an ultra  rare Eucort "rural", produced in Barcelona. This hardly known marque made cars between 1945 and 1954 in relatively high numbers (around 1000 units) and under this "aerodynamic" nose is located a little 754 c.c, two cylinder-two strokes engine in transversal position. Are you thinking of a DKW?? No, this car wasn´t produced under any license, but the head of engineering of the company was a German who had worked with DKW before the war. The Eucort cars had a very bad reputation due to the frequent breakdowns produced by the bad quality of the materials used...  so we can imagine that the funny scene of the main photo was photographed during a breakdown, and not only for lightheated reasons.
