During the Diamond Jubilee Weekend the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum welcomed almost 2,000 visitors to the Cultra Hill climb, held on the grounds of the Museum. One of the themes was to celebrate the work of Harry Ferguson and Rex McCandless, two of Ulster's 4WD pioneers. Most interesting to see was the 1960 Ferguson 4WD Formula One car, brought by the chairman of the British Racing Drivers Club Chairman, Stuart Rolt. This car, driven by Sterling Moss, won the 1961 Oulton Park Gold Cup. The Ferguson F1 is still competitive as shown by Rolt while he set a new record for the day's hill climb. Watch him driving it on this YouTube video!
