Car Design & Oscar Wilde.

Despite the resemblance, no it's not an Alfa Romeo Giulia SS. And if you would see the nose you would  instantly know: Panhard CD !  The CD and Alfa's SS obvious are children of the same generation. When design still could reign over marketing.  Possibly that's what inspired auction house Osenat to use some lines by Oscar Wilde in their description of this long neglected Panhard. 
They use a few lines by Wilde, but than cut of at the best bit about beauty : "........... You smile? Ah! when you have lost it you won't smile.... People say sometimes that beauty is only superficial. That may be so, but at least it is not so superficial as thought is. To me, beauty is the wonder of wonders."  Something to think about today.
