The XK Jag down-under (Upd. the car behind is Ford Mainline ute ?)

Back in 1985 John Elmgreen and Terry McGrath wrote a book about the history of the Jaguar XK in Australia. They had been collecting all kinds of histories on every XK ever made and decided to publish their knowledge about the Australian XK's. That book was widely acknowledged but history being what it is, more and more information has come to light so it was time for an update plus an expansion into other countries in the Southern Hemisphere. In fact the new information was such that it was too much to put into one book, so there will be several. The first book deals solely with the histories of almost 1000 XK120's in Africa, Asia, Australia/NZ and South America. including the histories of no fewer than 55 alloy-bodied XK120s . There are more than 1000 photos in the book, many of the originals of course in black & white, but if the original was in color, it has also been reproduced in color. We can simply tell you how fascinatingly good the book looks, but it's easier to see for yourself, here's an example. The book can be ordered here. Two books, one about the XK140 and the other for the XK150 will follow later. We can hardly wait!
