The working force near Sisteron, France.

These shots are by Karel Vermeer, taken a few weeks ago just north of Sisteron, in the Provence (Sisteron is well known to those who ever did the Monte Carlo Rally). It just goes to show that if you keep your eyes open, there's still lots to see on the road. As far as we could make out the main photo shows a Hanomag; there were several Peugeots 403 familiale, a 203 pick-up truck (ready to go anywhere) and a Renault Goelette. All seem to be in pretty good shape, so it's more like someone's collection than a scrapyard.
