'Stealth' car of the sixties (update: Great & safe for Rallies!)

Here in West Europe the Oldsmobole Toronado was about as rare as a Ferrari. The seldom occasion one turned up,  anyone's jaw would drop. In the late sixties it was amidst the small family cars a vehicle from outer space. The jaw like front end with no headlights showing was beyond the usual. Even beyond the exotic. What ads up to the mystery is the hear-say stories (nobody owned one) about a V8 with forntwheel drive making use of nylon (?)  drive axles. This sharp looking 1966 Oldsmobile (lot 207)  wil be sold this weekend at RM's Vintage Motor Cars of Meadow Brook.
