Tough to Crack Puzzle # 38

Could this be one of the strangest vehicles we have seen? And then we are not referring to the fabulous drawing, but to the automobile in question which at the time of introduction has been compared to a melted steam train with a plexiglass dome. Two prototypes were presented: a small one with two seats and a four cylinder 591 cc engine; the other, larger car a 4-seater with an eight-cylinder 1,184 cc engine. It is thought that several of the smaller ones were built, and only one of the larger version. We don't know if any survived as the company became involved in a financial scandal and the whole project went down the drain. Tell us the make and models, who made it and when. We'll give you bonus points if you can tell which artist made this fabulous drawing, which of course we will show in full next week.
