As ugly as affordable?

One can hardly say the Aston Martins of the eighties are the best appreciated moist highly valued Astons of all times.No chroem bumpers and not the slick sixties hi-polishec design. Maybe too much of a knee fall for the american market that produced this steroid fed eighties roadster. So far all waht's against it. The good thing is that it has all the goodies of  that era, very much leaning into more modern times with electronic ignition, an electric retractble top and the equally refined as raw 300HP V8 which was Aston Martin's business card back than. And finally the best news: it is a one owner, documented 22,000 miles car.  Now how many of the 849 cars built in this series ( V8 Volante and Vantage Volante) can claim that? The estimate for the car at Bonhams Simeone sale the weekend prior to Hershey is US$ 90,000 - 110,000 which seems  a lot for a not so very classic Aston. Yett we can vividly remember that we said similar things about the DB6's....
