Car collections are displayed in many different ways. Last weekend we visited a Swedish collection in the middle of a plant nursery. The collection is focused on Volvos and has a wide variety of cars from this brand.
The owner of the Dutch collection did an internship in Sweden in his early days and bought his first Volvo there, a 444-A from 1947. Later, more from this series came into his hands and now some 85 different Volvo's are part of the collection, parked among the trees, but the most eye-catching is the barn in the middle of the tree farm.
The barn was first used for rooted trees, which he grew and sold, but when the market changed and interest in rooted trees increased, the barn fell vacant and the plan arose to start a Volvo museum. Most notable is the rack in the middle, where various cars are charmingly stacked.
It’s worth a visit if you like Volvos and trees.
Where is this museum located?
Does he have a website?
Thanks.
