Even when they not drivable anymore, small cars can start a new career. This little Vespa even made it big in advertising. Click the main photo and you’ll know how and why! It was photographed by Martin Jubb by the roadside on highway 70, N Carolina. As far as we can tell the Vespa (named after Roman emperor Vespasianus) is a model 400 dating from 1960, but what has us worried are the “air ducts” on the rear panel. Were they a later addition? Maybe someone from the American Vespa Club can tell us? And by the way, Martin is in hospital now, so we wish him a swift recovery!
