What happened to this bird's Aston DB 2/4?
Ah! Girls and classic Astons - that brings us to our Friday Lady Tippi Hedren in Hitchcock's The Birds, right? Of course it does. Not just because it was a damned good movie, but also because she must have been at the top of her career, driving that delicate roadster. The incredible thing is that so far no one has claimed the drophead DB2/4 to be theirs. Could that mean the lhd car, registered RUJ 655 on California plates, could still be languishing in an American barn? Who knows. It would be about time to relieve that other silver coloured film car, built at the Aston works, from its seemingly ever lasting PR-journey. We’ve seen that now, thank you.

going trough the Aston Martin club register i can see that LML727 ended up in Germany in 1992 and also 1996 still whit the same owner, strange there is nothing mentioned that this was the Aston Martin used in the Birds, if the Aston Martin is still in Germany i dont know the Aston Martin Herritage probaly might do

The very rare left-hand drive Aston was owned by Jules Stein of MCA which owned Universal Studios. Stein leased the car to the production. Over the years the car saw several subsequent owners, ending up in Europe.
